Martigny - Orsieres, 20 km, 8 september 2022

To day a verry nice trip through the mountains and gaining 950m. As the path went up and down all the time I did a lot more. Wonderful feeling to be back on a trail again and to experience everything so direct and clearly. Idea was to start in Lausanne, but I decided to change that as the cost of internet and accommodation compels me to get out of Zwitserland asap. However I wanted to cross the Alpes, so therefore I started in Martigny where it goes uphill for real. Beautiful weather to day, not to hot, not to cold, excellent for walking. Body is holding up so far and the crême for the feet is doing wonders. I will try to load up some foto's afterwords.

To morrow to Bourg St. Pierre. A short stretch, but a 1000m up.
