Ivrea - Viverone 21 km 17.09.22

To day walking to Viverone went like a dream. A beautiful track running through small villages and of course the many vineyards of Piemonte. Picking grapes and processing them is the tune these days. One vineyard we passed they had a party going on to celebrate the harvest of the grapes was done for the year and the winemakers praised the quantity and quality of the 2022 wines to come. So for winelovers, mark the year. We had a coffee and a snack and meet other pilgrims from oa Australia, Finland and Switzerland. So there are a lot of us about and no doubt we'll meet again, probably more than once.

A am again staying at a rather classy hotel lakeside in Viverone where a wedding party is going on. They manage to make a lot of noise, playing loud music, dancing and singing. Is alright with me. I only hope I'll manage to sleep to night. But first dinner and some good wine.
