(Hotel Terminus) As explained yesterday Janick and me took buss and train to Orthez to save my foot and save time. It rained a lot this morning, so it was just as well. Having a beer on a terrace in the sunshine this afternoon at Orthez we suddenly met Kees whom I had met briefly in Limoges where I stayed a day extra. He has done well and we had a lot to talk about. He wants to be in SJPDP on Saturday and has to push on. We will use 4 days to get there on Sunday or latest Monday.
Orthez is a much livelier town than many other villages we have been through previously.
We have just, as the only two guests, had a tasteful 4 course dinner at this Terminus hotel with a good botle of wine and are now in the mood for a good nights sleep at 22:10.
