14 april Cluis - Orsennes - Gargilesse 20 km E

16:30 This morning I said farewell to Janick and I set off to Orsennes to pick up my credit card. As it was only 11 km to Orsennes I was there at 11 AM and reported at the post Office. A very nice lady checked and said the letter was not there! She started to investigate and made some telephone calls and found out that the thing indeed was at Gargilesse and that the place even does have a post Office. I was very happy to hear that. Gargilesse was only another 10 km walking and the post Office wouldn'be open until 14 pm, so I could take it easy and settled for a cup of coffee first. Gargilesse is apparently the most beautiful village in France and I am glad it came upon my journey. Indeed a very picturesque and artistique little place laying in a deep valley. Had some baguette and sausage underway for lunch in a meadow and arrived just after two, and surprise! to see Janick sitting on a terrace to wait for check in to the only hotel in the place. Fun to see him again! Together we went to the post office to finally collect my letter and a stamp in the camino credential at Le Mairie.
Tjoehay I finally had my credit card! The weather has in the mean time turned over cast and will remain so for a day or two after which it is expected to be warm and suny again for many days.
