27 april Thiviers - Sorges 18 km E

A beautiful day for walking again. Sun is shining, but stil this cold wind from the North. For lunch we sat down in Negronde at a diner for truck drivers which from experience serve good food and this one was loaded with people. Janick ordered endoullette ( have to check the spelling) with fries and recommended it to me as well. When the food was served, first thing I observed was the smell. It smelled very bad like it had gone off. It looked like a kind of sausage. Janick really seemed to enJoy it and I had some as well, but I said I didn't like it and gave my portion to Janick. Then he told me it was made of intestines of pigs. Ouch...

Underway we met a middle aged couple from Holland whom we, after having had the evening meal now share the bedroom with as well as with Bas whom we met earlier.
A very nice couple named Regine and Robert from Amsterdam. They walk 2 weaks twice a year, so much is possible to walk the Camino.
To morrow the larger city of Perigeux.
